Hendrik Christian Andersen, born in Northway (1872) was an American sculptor, painter and above all a city planner.
Andersen first traveled along Europe then settled himself in Rome where he died in 1940.
The collection is made by 200 sculptures, more than 200 paintings, 300 graphic works.
Andersen’s utopy was driven by the dream to plan a grand "World City”, a permanent international laboratory to develop culture and ideas in the field of Arts, Sciences, Philosophy, Religion, and Physical Education.
